Shampoo Spill Stain

There´s no quick solution to cleaning up a shampoo spill from carpet. Use water and a clean white cloth and keep blotting the area until the shampoo seems to be out. Don´t rub the area or you risk damaging the carpet fibers and don´t overwet the area or you run the risk of causing mold and mildew to form. You may want to rent a carpet steam cleaning machine from your local supermarket or home store (use it without a cleaner - just plain water) or hire a professional.
