Window cleaning

To keep windows clean, keep up regular maintenance. Stick to a schedule: four times a year. For best results, use an applicator brush with dishwashing liquid and a liquid cleanser on stubborn build-up. To save time, use a squeegee. A cloth will do on small areas. Cloth diapers are the best: they´re soft and don´t scratch the glass.

Wash windows on cloudy days when they are damp so that every fingerprint and mark will show up. Sunny days are less ideal for window washing since the windows dry too quickly, leaving marks behind.

If you live in a climate where it´s cold, you can fill your spray bottle with 1 quart of rubbing alcohol plus 1 cup water and 2 tablespoons mild dishwashing liquid for a solution that is less likely to freeze or , as an alternative, you can use winter windshield washing fluid.
