Harrow is a large town in northwest London which until 1965 was a municipal borough of Middlesex. Situated in the greenbelt are with easy access to central London, the town has plenty of open spaces. This includes Bentley Priory, Harrow Weald Common, Canons Gate, Stanmore Common and Stanmore Country Park. Harrow HA1 is also home to one of the most famous of British public schools- Harrow School, which is an independent school for boys. The present school was established back in 1572 but it is thought that there was a school on this site since 1243. It has an enrolment of 830 students and is also noted for being one of only four all-boys, full-boarding school in the UK.
