Your kitchen is the room where all the food is prepared and consumed which makes the room look messy.  To kitchen cleaning timetablemaintain the kitchen clean and free from rotten food, regular cleaning and tidying up is required. Some kitchen cleaning tasks have to be done on a daily basis, others on a weekly basis and there is also some things you can do once in the month. It is up to you to make your own schedule, but bear in mind that if you don’t clean the kitchen regularly, it will take you longer to clean it after that and there will be unpleasant odour in your property coming from the kitchen.

Here is an example kitchen cleaning schedule which could be followed by most households.

Wash the dishes, glasses, cups, cutlery and pans every day as leaving them in the sink will make them stink and when the food leftovers dry, it will take you more time to wash them. After you have washed them, leave them to dry for about half an hour and put them back in their usual places in the cupboards.  Clear the worktops by putting all items that you used on their places and order the small kitchen appliances nicely. Spray the worktops and wipe them down with a cloth.

During your weekly cleaning, clean the microwave inside and out and all small kitchen appliances even if you haven’t used them in the last week. Clean the sink properly with antibacterial detergent and remove all lime scale and grime. Dusting the window sills, skirting boards and picture frames is essential as they gather a lot of dust. Disinfect all bins and change the bin liners. Clean the floor by using the vacuum cleaner first and then mop with a floor cleaning solution.

There is also plenty of work in the kitchen every month. The hobs and the oven need to be deep cleaned with a specialised chemical in order to maintain them in a good condition. Cleaning the refrigerator from the inside is essential and all expired food needs to be thrown away. The windows need to be cleaned every month as they are an important part of the overall cleanliness of the property.

Depending on the size of the kitchen, the time to clean it may vary, but for sure maintaining it clean will save you lots of efforts and precious time.
