Window Cleaning in Chelsea
Streak-free window cleaning for Chelsea homes and businesses, done safely from the ground with the Reach & Wash system.
Chelsea’s windows take more care than most. The garden-square townhouses have tall sash windows over four or five floors, often with balconies, wrought-iron railings and basement lightwells in front, while the red-brick mansion blocks around Sloane Square have deep bays and decorative stonework that ladders can scratch. Along the river, the newer apartments have floor-to-ceiling glass that shows every mark, and the boutiques and restaurants on the King’s Road need their shopfronts spotless before opening. Our Reach & Wash operatives clean all of it from the pavement, reaching up to six floors with purified water and soft brushes. There are no ladders against period brickwork and no chemicals near window boxes or planting, and the glass dries without streaks.

Areas We Cover
Window cleaning across Chelsea, planned around the buildings on your street, from mansion-block bays to riverside glass.
Sloane Square & Lower Sloane Street
SW1W · SW3The red-brick mansion blocks around Sloane Square and Sloane Gardens have deep bay windows set into terracotta and stone detailing that a ladder can easily chip. Our water-fed poles clean every floor from the pavement, and we arrange access to inner courtyards and rear lightwells with the porter in advance.
King’s Road Garden Squares
SW3On Carlyle, Markham and Wellington Squares, the townhouses rise four or five storeys, with tall sash windows, first-floor balconies and wrought-iron railings over basement lightwells. We clean the frames and sills along with the glass, and fit visits around the squares’ resident parking.
Old Chelsea & Cheyne Walk
SW3The Georgian houses facing the river along Cheyne Walk, and the narrow streets behind them, have old crown glass, slim glazing bars and fanlights above the doors. Purified water and soft brushes are gentle on period glass, and river spray and traffic from the Embankment mean regular cleans are worth keeping up.
Chelsea Green
SW3The cottages and mews houses around the green are lower and more compact, often with small-paned windows, roof lights and window boxes at the front. Our pure water method uses no chemicals, so it is safe near planting, and a single visit usually covers the front and back of the house.
Redcliffe & The Boltons
SW10Large stucco villas on The Boltons and tall Victorian terraces around Redcliffe Square and Gardens, most of them divided into flats. The top-floor windows are out of every tenant’s reach, so one booking for the whole building cleans every floor at once.
World’s End & Chelsea Waterfront
SW10At the western end of the King’s Road, post-war blocks stand next to the new riverside towers at Chelsea Waterfront. Floor-to-ceiling glazing, glass balustrades and the shopfronts on the King’s Road all show dirt quickly, so we set up regular rounds for residents, managing agents and businesses.

How often should windows in Chelsea be cleaned?
For most homes, every four to eight weeks keeps the glass clear. Houses near the Embankment or on busy roads such as the King’s Road and Fulham Road pick up traffic film and river spray faster, so a monthly round often works better there. Shops and restaurants usually book weekly or fortnightly cleans so their frontages always look right for customers.
Can you reach windows behind railings, balconies and basement lightwells?
Yes. The water-fed pole reaches over railings and balcony parapets from the pavement, so nobody has to climb onto ironwork or lean a ladder against stucco. Basement windows in lightwells can be cleaned from street level, or we can come down the steps if you give us access to the gate.
Do you clean the inside of the windows too?
Yes, on request. Inside cleaning is done by hand with traditional tools – by squeegee and blade – and we can include the frames, sills and the runners of sash windows. It’s often booked alongside an outside clean before an event, a sale or the start of a new tenancy.
Can you clean glass balconies and balustrades on riverside apartments?
Yes. Glass balustrades, Juliet balconies and floor-to-ceiling glazing on the newer riverside developments can be cleaned from the balcony or, where the building allows, from ground level with water-fed poles. We’ll agree access with the concierge or building management beforehand.
Do you clean whole buildings for managing agents and residents’ associations?
Yes. For mansion blocks and converted houses we can clean the windows of every flat on one visit, along with communal stairwell windows and entrance glass. We’ll provide a single quote for the building, keep to a regular schedule, and can send a short report to the managing agent after each clean.
Do you clean conservatories, skylights and roof lights?
Yes. Conservatory roofs, skylights and roof lights on mews houses and top-floor flats can usually be reached with the water-fed pole, which cleans the glass and frames without anyone climbing onto the roof. Lantern lights and flat-roof glazing can be included in the same visit if there is safe access.
