Window Cleaning in Greenwich
Streak-free window cleaning for Greenwich homes, blocks and businesses, carried out safely from the ground with the Reach & Wash system.
Few boroughs could ask more of a window cleaner. Around Greenwich Park, Crooms Hill and Blackheath, Georgian and Victorian houses have tall sashes, fanlights and basement lightwells behind railings. Eltham and Kidbrooke are lined with interwar semis with bay windows and conservatory roofs, while Greenwich Peninsula, Royal Arsenal and Greenwich Millennium Village add floor-to-ceiling glazing and balconies exposed to river spray. Add rear windows reached only through the house, permit-only parking and traffic film from the A2 and A102, and ladders quickly become impractical. Our Reach & Wash operatives clean from the ground up to six floors, using purified water and soft brushes: no ladders against period brickwork, no chemicals, no streaks. Anyclean has been cleaning London windows since 1998.

Areas We Cover
Window cleaning across the Royal Borough of Greenwich, from riverside apartment blocks to period terraces, with the approach matched to the buildings on your street.
Abbey Wood
SE2Abbey Wood mixes post-war houses on the Bostall and Abbey estates with new apartment blocks around the Elizabeth line station. Picture windows, uPVC frames and balcony glass collect dust from the rail lines and building sites nearby. We clean whole blocks and individual homes from the ground, so there are no ladders over shared paths and front gardens.
Window cleaning in Abbey WoodEltham
SE9Eltham is lined with interwar semis and detached houses, many with deep bay windows, leaded lights, porches and conservatories at the back. On the Progress Estate and the streets off Well Hall Road, gardens and driveways make ladder work awkward. Our water-fed poles reach upper bays and dormers safely from the path, while Eltham High Street shopfronts are cleaned before trading starts.
Window cleaning in ElthamCharlton
SE7In Charlton, Victorian terraces around Charlton Village and Charlton Church Lane sit close to new riverside flats by the Thames Barrier. Expect timber sashes and bays on older houses, plus large balcony glazing that river spray and traffic on the A206 and A102 quickly dull. A single Reach & Wash visit covers houses and low-rise blocks alike.
Window cleaning in CharltonBlackheath
SE3Around the heath, grand Georgian and Victorian houses, Span estates and mansion flats have tall sashes, fanlights, glazed porches and big rear windows facing gardens. Many are in conservation areas, so we keep ladders off period brickwork altogether. We work from the pavement or garden with soft brushes and purified water, carefully and without fuss.
Window cleaning in BlackheathWoolwich
SE18Woolwich ranges from the converted Georgian and Victorian military buildings of Royal Arsenal to tall new apartment blocks and Powis Street shopfronts. Listed façades, long runs of windows and balcony glass high above the river call for a careful approach. We reach up to six floors from the ground and can schedule block and commercial cleans around concierge access and opening hours.
Window cleaning in WoolwichThamesmead
SE28The Greenwich side of Thamesmead combines 1970s estates with new developments along the river and the lakes. Large flat-glazed windows, balconies and walkway-facing frames are exposed to wind-blown grime off the Thames. Our ground-based poles let us clean upper floors without access equipment, for individual households, landlords and managing agents.

How often should I have my windows cleaned?
Most homes look their best with a clean every four to eight weeks. Shopfronts and street-facing offices often need fortnightly or weekly visits to stay presentable. We agree a regular schedule with you, and you can change the frequency or pause it at any time.
Do you clean frames, sills and doors as well as the glass?
Yes. The water-fed brush cleans frames and sills on every visit, and the pure-water rinse carries the dirt away with it. Glazed front doors, fanlights and porch glass can be included too; just let us know when you book.
Is purified water safe around plants, pets and paintwork?
Yes. We use only water filtered to remove minerals, with no detergents or chemicals, so run-off is harmless to window boxes, gardens, pets and painted surfaces.
Can you clean conservatory roofs?
Yes. Our extendable poles reach across most glass and polycarbonate conservatory roofs from the ground, removing moss, leaf debris and green algae without anyone climbing on the structure. We can add it to a regular visit or book it as a one-off clean.
Why do windows on Greenwich Peninsula and by the river get dirty so quickly?
Riverside blocks take the full force of wind off the Thames, which carries spray, salt residue and fine grit onto the glass, while balconies and floor-to-ceiling windows show every mark. Homes near the Blackwall Tunnel approach and the A102 also collect a greasy traffic film. For these buildings we usually recommend more frequent cleans, and our pure-water method removes the residue without leaving smears.
Can you work around Greenwich’s controlled parking zones and busy event days?
Yes. Most of central Greenwich, Blackheath and Woolwich is covered by controlled parking zones, and the area around Greenwich town centre gets very busy on market days and during events in Greenwich Park and at The O2. We plan routes and arrival times around these, use permitted bays or arrange visitor permits where needed, and agree access with concierges in managed blocks.
