Harold Wood CC is a friendly cricket club that is always keen to attract new players of all abilities. Formed in 1896, it became one of the first clubs in the country to achieve Sport England Clubmark Accreditation which is recognition of the club’s safe, efficient and child friendly environment. As from 1934 Harold Wood Cricket Club is located at Harold Wood Park, on site that was donated by a local landowner on the condition that the field would be used for cricket. Today the club fields 5 Saturday XI’s teams playing in the Shepherd Neame League; 2 Sunday XI’s; and a ladies team who play in the Women’s Southern Cricket League.
