Deep Cleaning in Hackney For a Top-to-Bottom Reset of Your Home
Some dirt doesn’t shift with a weekly clean. Grease builds up behind the oven, limescale on taps and shower screens, dust on skirting boards and sash windows, and fine plaster dust settles after building work. If you’re moving out, a checkout inspection will find all of it, and it can cost you part of your deposit. If you’re moving in, selling or about to host, you rarely get more than a few days’ notice.
Our deep clean covers every room, top to bottom: kitchen appliances inside and out, bathrooms descaled, cupboards, doors, skirting, light fittings and floors. We bring our own equipment and products and fit the job around your move date or handover, whether it’s a Victorian flat in Stoke Newington, a converted loft in Shoreditch or a new-build in Hackney Wick.
Hackney residents, landlords and letting agents use Anyclean because the job is done properly the first time. You get a fixed quote before we start, vetted and insured cleaners, ISO 45001 and SafeContractor accreditation, and a team that knows how to deal with the borough’s parking zones, walk-up flats and tight move-out deadlines.

What Hackney Clients Say About Our Deep Cleans
“Our Victorian flat had sash windows and a fireplace that hadn’t been properly cleaned in years. The team took their time with the window frames and the old tiled hearth, and the kitchen looked better than when we moved in. The checkout went through with no deductions.”
Grace A.
Albion Road, N16
“We had the loft and bathroom redone and the dust got into everything, even the inside of the light fittings. Two cleaners spent a full day going room by room, and by the evening the house felt clean enough to move the kids back in. Really pleased with how thorough they were.”
Oliver M.
Lower Clapton Road, E5
“I let out a one-bed in Shoreditch and the gap between tenants is usually a day at most. Anyclean got in early, cleaned it top to bottom and sent me photos before the new tenant arrived. The price matched the quote exactly, which made budgeting easy.”
Nadia F.
Hoxton Square, N1
“Our new-build flat at Woodberry Down was handed over with sticker residue, dusty cupboards and paint marks on the floor. Anyclean sorted all of it before our furniture arrived. They were friendly, on time and brought everything they needed.”
Jamal T.
Woodberry Grove, N4
Deep Cleaning Questions, Answered
How long does a deep clean take?
It depends on the size and condition of the home. A one-bedroom flat usually takes a single team most of a day, while a larger house or a home after building work may need a bigger team or a second day. We give you an estimated duration with your quote, so you can plan key handovers, removals or a checkout inspection around it.
Can you deep clean a period home in Stoke Newington or Clapton without damaging original features?
Yes. Many Hackney homes in Stoke Newington, Clapton and around Hackney Downs still have Victorian encaustic tiles, sash windows, cast-iron fireplaces, cornicing and old timber floors. We ask about these when you book and treat each one with methods and products that suit it. That means no harsh acids on old tiles, no soaking of timber, and careful hand-cleaning of sash frames and runners.
Do you clean walk-up flats and warehouse lofts in Shoreditch and Hackney Wick?
Yes. A lot of Hackney’s housing means stairs and height rather than lifts and level access, from top-floor flats above shops on Mare Street and Kingsland Road to converted lofts in Shoreditch and Hackney Wick with high ceilings and large industrial windows. Tell us the floor level, whether there’s a lift and the ceiling height when you book, and we’ll send the right team and equipment, including extension poles for high-level dusting and glass.
Do I need to be at home while you clean?
No. Many clients hand over keys or leave them with a neighbour, concierge or letting agent, especially for move-out and between-tenancy cleans. We agree access arrangements with you when you book, and the team lets you know when they have arrived and when they have finished and locked up.
Can you deep clean a property that is still furnished?
Yes. We clean around and under furniture where it can be moved safely, including beds, sofas and lighter cabinets, and wipe down the outside of wardrobes and shelving. If the home is about to be emptied, booking the clean after the removals gives the best result, because every floor, skirting board and cupboard is easy to reach.
How should I prepare my home before the team arrives?
Clear worktops, surfaces and floors of personal items as far as you can, and empty the fridge and freezer if you want them cleaned inside. Make sure there is running water, electricity and hot water. If you have a pet, it helps to keep it in another room or out of the home for the day. Tell us about any delicate surfaces or areas to avoid, and the team will work around them.
