End of Tenancy Cleaning in Hackney
Your checkout is closer than it feels. Hackney inventory clerks look inside the oven, along the skirting and under the bed, and a missed patch of limescale or grease can quickly come off your deposit. We clean every room to the inventory checklist, from Clapton flats to Stoke Newington terraces, at a fixed price with no surprises. If the clerk flags anything we’ve covered, we’ll come back and put it right free of charge.

The Inventory Clerks Don’t Ask If It Looks Clean. They Check.
Cleaning is the most common reason for deposit disputes. At check-out, the inventory clerk compares each room with the check-in report and goes straight to the places tenants miss.
Those places are where our checklist starts.
What the clerk checks
- Tops of doors – above eye level for tenants, right at eye level for a clerk’s fingertip.
- Extractor filters – lifted out and checked for grease.
- Window runners and sash channels – grit, dust and dead insects in the tracks.
- Grout – grey lines in showers and behind taps.
- Inside the oven fan housing – behind the back panel, where burnt grease hides.
- Behind the fridge – dust and crumbs once it’s pulled out.
- Skirting boards – dust and scuffs along every edge of every room.

Move-out Cleaning Across Hackney
Moving out in Hackney rarely goes to plan. Notice periods are tight, removal vans get booked for the same weekend as the inventory check, and the deposit is often the money you’re counting on for your next place. That’s not the moment to find out the oven needed more than a wipe. Agents here work to detailed, photographed inventories, and clerks know where to look: grease on cooker hoods, limescale on taps and shower screens, dust on the tops of doors, and grit packed into old sash runners in the Victorian terraces of Clapton and Stoke Newington.
That’s why so many Hackney tenants hand the job to us. We read your check-in inventory before we start and clean to that report, not to a generic list. We bring our own equipment and products, work around the borough’s parking zones and walk-up stairs, and book concierge slots and goods lifts in the newer blocks around Woodberry Down and Shoreditch. The price is fixed before we arrive. If the clerk flags something we’ve cleaned, we come back and put it right at no extra cost. You can hand back the keys, move on and get your deposit back without a weekend of scrubbing.

Access and parking
Nearly every street in Hackney sits inside a controlled parking zone, and hours vary from zone to zone. Some run into evenings and weekends, and the roads near Hackney Wick get extra restrictions on London Stadium event days.
We’ll ask for a visitor permit when you book, or arrange a bay suspension for larger houses. For upper-floor flats and buildings without a lift, we bring compact equipment and protect shared hallways and stairs on the way in.

Clapton
Clapton’s terraces around Clapton Square and Chatsworth Road are mostly split into flats, with original sashes, picture rails and fireplaces that clerks check closely. Tenancies turn over fast here, so we often clean within a day or two of notice.
End of tenancy cleaning in ClaptonFinsbury Park
Hackney’s part of Finsbury Park is the N4 edge around Seven Sisters Road and Woodberry Down. New apartment blocks need concierge sign-in and goods lift bookings, and their floor-to-ceiling glazing shows every smear. We arrange access ahead of your handover.

Homerton mixes estate flats, housing association homes and terraces near Victoria Park. Family kitchens and bathrooms take heavy wear, so we spend extra time on oven grease, limescale and mould in the silicone, which are the things that most often cost tenants their deposit.
End of tenancy cleaning in HomertonShoreditch
Shoreditch lofts and serviced flats around Hoxton Square and Curtain Road have large windows, exposed brick and polished concrete floors. These show dust and streaks in a way carpet hides. We clean them with the right products and fit around building access hours.

Stamford Hill has big Victorian and Edwardian family houses on roads like Ravensdale Road and Lordship Road. They have several bedrooms, long staircases and busy kitchens. We send a larger team so even a whole house is ready for inspection in one day.

Stoke Newington’s period flats and houses around Church Street and Clissold Park come with sash windows, cornicing and older kitchens. Clerks look at these in detail. We clean runners, ledges and mouldings by hand and check everything against your inventory before we leave.
End of tenancy cleaning in Stoke NewingtonWhat Hackney Tenants, Landlords and Letting Agents Say
★★★★★ Trustpilot 5.0 from 452 reviews · Google 4.7 from 361 reviews
“I had a week between finishing work and flying home, and the flat on Chatsworth Road needed a proper clean before checkout. Two cleaners came on the Tuesday and were there most of the day. The oven looked newer than when I moved in. The clerk’s report had no cleaning notes at all, and my deposit came back in full ten days later.”
Laura B. · Chatsworth Road, Clapton, E5
“I own a Victorian conversion on Albion Road and the gap between tenants is always tight. Anyclean went in the morning after check-out, descaled the shower, sorted the black mould on the bathroom ceiling and cleaned the sashes. I took the listing photos that evening. Same quote as before, and they’ve done my last three changeovers.”
Martin H. · Albion Road, Stoke Newington, N16
“We manage a lot of flats in the new blocks at Woodberry Down, and concierge access can be a headache. The Anyclean team book the goods lift themselves, send us photos when they’ve finished and never miss a slot. When an inventory clerk picked up a smear on the balcony glass, they went back the next day without any fuss.”
Sophie A. · Woodberry Grove, Finsbury Park, N4
“Four of us were moving out of a flat above a shop in Homerton, and nobody had touched the extractor fan in two years. They arrived at eight, worked round the boxes still in the hallway and had it all done by mid-afternoon. We split the cost four ways and all got our deposits back. Worth every penny.”

End of Tenancy Cleaning in Hackney: Your Questions Answered
What Hackney tenants want to know before they book a move-out clean, answered plainly.
What does an end of tenancy clean include?
Every room, top to bottom. In the kitchen we clean the oven, hob, extractor and fridge inside and out, degrease the cupboards and descale the sink and taps. In bathrooms we remove limescale from tiles, glass and fittings and treat mould in the silicone. Throughout the property we clean skirting, doors, switches, radiators, interior windows and floors. Carpet deep cleaning, upholstery and outside windows can be added when you book.
How long does the clean take?
It depends on the size and condition of the property. A studio or one-bedroom flat usually takes a single team most of a morning. A three- or four-bedroom house can take a full day, so we send more cleaners to keep it to one visit. We’ll tell you how long to allow when you book, so you can plan your key handover around it.
Do I need to be there while you clean?
No. Plenty of our customers drop the keys with us, or leave them with a neighbour or their agent, then get on with the move. We just need the electricity and hot water left on. Once we’ve finished, we’ll call or message you, and if you’d like we can hand the keys straight to your agent.
Can you clean while my belongings are still in the property?
We can, but the result is always better in an empty home. Boxes and furniture hide floors, skirting and the insides of cupboards, which are exactly where clerks look. If your move-out is staggered, we’ll clean around what’s left and come back to finish the rooms you clear later.
I’m leaving an older conversion in Hackney. What will the check-out clerk focus on?
In the Victorian conversions found across Clapton, Stoke Newington and Stamford Hill, clerks spend most of their time on the features that collect dirt. Expect them to check sash window runners and ledges, picture rails and cornicing, old fireplaces, and small top-floor bathrooms where poor ventilation leaves mould. Older kitchens with tired extractors get a close look too. We clean all of these by hand and check them against your check-in inventory before we leave.
Can you work in a Hackney new-build or a block with a concierge?
Yes, and we do it every week. In blocks around Woodberry Down, along the canal and in Shoreditch, we book the goods lift and register with the concierge before the day, so you don’t have to deal with building management. We protect lifts and corridors, and we use the right products on glazing, stone worktops and engineered floors, so streaks and marks don’t end up in the check-out report.
