Historically situated in Middlesex, during the Middle Ages Eastcote was one of the 3 Ruislip Parishes. The settlement was called Ascot due to its position to the east of the Parish. Now St Marin’s Church is the principle place of worship and prayer in the area. It is an Anglican church located on the corner of the High Street and Eastcote Road, Ruislip HA4. The site is easily accessible by Ruislip tube station which is part of the Metropolitan Line. There has been a Christian temple on this site for nearly a thousand years. A church on or near the same location of the present building is mentioned in the Domesday Book, while the oldest piece of furniture within the facility dates from the 14th century. St Martin is a beautiful and attractive church both inside and out. The interior includes eye catching wall paintings, pews and wonderful glass windows.
