Hartley is a village and a civil parish situated to the south of Gravesend in Kent. Its Anglican parish church is dedicated to All Saints and dates from the 12th century, though it is believed that the same site was used as a place of worship in Saxon times. Hartley is home to the New Ash Green and Hartley Cricket Club. The club was born in 1972 when the neighbouring villages of New Ash Green and Hartley joined forces to form one club. Initially New Ash Green and Hartley CC was a loose association of friends with a passion for cricket. Over the years it has grown into a regular side and today the club is a member of the Kent Cricket League. They are based at Manor Field, Hartley DA3, and are always looking for cricket enthusiasts of all abilities to join the team.
