  • One of the most noted places in Strand is the King’s College London. Founded between 1828 and 1829 by a group of eminent politicians, churchmen and others, in 1829 the college was granted a royal charter by King George IV. KCl, as it is also referred to, is dedicated to the advancement of knowledge, learning and understanding in the service of society.
