- Cuming Museum. Opened to the public in 1906, this museum is the home of the worldwide collection of the Cuming Family. It is the result of over a hundred years of collecting by father and son, Richard and Henry Cuming. The facility is located in the Old Town Hall at 151 Walworth Road and presents a varied and general historian museum that displays a mix of permanent and changing exhibitions, telling the story of the Cuming Family and the History of Southwark. Cuming Museum is separated into three sections, housing a diverse collection of archaeology, ethnography, natural history, social history and more. - St Peter’s Church. Consecrated in 1825, this was the first of Walworth’s so-called “New Churches”.
